SUPPORT NEXT GENERATION JOURNALISTS
Donating to the Local Journalism Project helps our nonprofit organization train and financially support aspiring journalists, fund in-depth local reporting and build civic engagement with local news through community events.
Results To Date
Reporting Fellowships: 30 paid reporter training fellowships at our partner The Provincetown Independent newspaper.
Donations: 2,800+ donations from individuals and philanthropic organizations. View our previous donors here.
Awards: 15 journalists supported by the Local Journalism Project won a total of 32 New England and national journalism awards.
Investing In Journalists and Democracy
Local Journalism Project fellows have gone on to work at leading local and national news organizations (including The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and The Christian Science Monitor) or pursued important social research at The Fulbright Scholar Program and Dumbarton Oaks.
